Introducing FirstBible International
Great Beginnings
FirstBible International began in 2003 under the direction of Dr. Charles Keen. After 35 years of pastoring and leading First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio to be one of the greatest missions churches of our generation, the Lord gave Dr. Keen a vision for the unreached people groups of the world. FirstBible is a ministry of Franklin Road Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, TN where Dr. Mike Norris is the Pastor.
Dr. Norris believes the Great Commission is "do-able." Leading a church that invests heavily in missions, God has burdened Dr. Norris to develop a program that is purposely targeting the uttermost. Franklin Road is also home to a Scripture printing ministry with a 36 inch web press housed in a 6000 square foot building. Click here for a Personal Testimony.

Ministry Goals
FirstBible International is a Bible Translating and Publishing Ministry with a Three-Fold Goal:
Bible Publishing
We contend that neither church planting nor national training can be done effectively until we have a Bible in the heart language of the people we are trying to reach.
National Training
A successful church-planting movement will only be accomplished through trained nationals and the Bible is a necessary part of such training.
Church Planting
We believe this is God's plan for propogating the gospel and the ultimate goal and purpose of Bible Translation.
Ministry Core Values
Church Planting
The God-ordained way to spread the gospel.
Uttermost
The gospel is a global necessity.
Scriptures
The Bible is the only remaining perfect testimony of God on earth.
Closure
The Great Commission is a task to be completed.
Worship
The desire of God from every nation, kindred, tongue and people.
Diversity
The stated goal of God to gather all peoples unto Himself.
Glory of God
The underlying motive for all of our efforts.
Ministry Needs
Need #1 -- Prayer
Jesus never taught the disciples how to preach...but how to pray! So it's important that believers pray for continued access to unreached people groups because those prayers can help change the face of the world. If you want to be a member of the prayer team with FirstBible, use the Contact Us form to request free materials that will help you pray in a strategic way.
Need #2 -- Funding for the Translation and Publishing of Scriptures.
Our vision is to help you be strategic in providing the Scriptures for a world in need. How can we partner with you and serve you in fulfilling our Lord's command? We can work together to change millions of lives and to disciple those people groups that until now have been out of reach of the Gospel.
Need #3 -- A New Breed of Pioneer Missionaries
When William Carey began the modern missionary movement more than two centuries ago, he spoke to believers with a holy confidence: "God's cause will triumph." It already has, but we still have a responsibility to finish the job...to make a difference in the rest of the world.
6000 people groups remain unreached. That's approximately 1/2 of the world's population. We must allow God to put a passion in our hearts like Paul who said, "Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel not where Christ was named..." (Romans 15:20)No work is more strategic.
No task is more urgent.
No message is more relevant.
No goal is more attainable.
Contact us today and find out how you can partner with us in publishing the Word of God and making it available to the unreached peoples of our world.
